Soviet Architecture | Frederic Chaubin | Monday, April 27, 2009
Chaubin, the editor for French Magazine Citizen K has been photographing these strange, futurist buildings in the former Soviet Union. I am struck by the fact that being an architect in Russia at the time must have meant quite a lot of latitude for outlandish space-born design. I am sure there were a plethora of downsides to the job as well, but imagine being able to see such creations through and by public funding. Crazy.
